After reading your response, in all honesty, I am unsure as to why you are confused, particularly as you stated that you have visited New York before.

As stated in your response, you found the preceding celebration in 'El Barrio'....otherwise known as Spanish Harlem; the ONLY location that has been mentioned in my previous posts so far.
Your 'lengthy' research has led you (hopefully not Ricardo!) on a wild goose chase, my friend...to ANOTHER celebration on the same day held in Williamsburg, BROOKLYN, an ENTIRELY different borough. I had been aware of that celebration as well while residing in NYC, however...as you can see...I had not recommended it. Why? Because I had never been there, so it would be pointless for me to suggest it. So...the confusion is....where exactly?

Trans_rub, even though your intentions may be positive regarding your research etc, unfortunately, you have not been completely thorough, which hopefully has NOT resulted in confusing the ONE person whom all of this was intended for in the first place: Ricardo. With that said, I believe that it is in your best interests to leave well alone at this point....and let Ricardo experience the preceding celebration in Spanish Harlem for himself, if he is able to do so.

As a closing analogy, I would feel extremely awkward and embarassed to challenge the suggestions of, say, a chikan who RESIDES/RESIDED in India for example, basing my challenge on the limited knowledge that I may have acquired due to VISITING a city there ONCE before. Ummm...I think...I hope...you get the picture....:-)
