Wassup trans_rub,

Firstly, I admire the fact that you went to such lengths to research the details included in my last post. Nevertheless, there are a few key factors that I need to politely make you aware of:

1) I did not visit...I LIVED in NYC for YEARS...so I am fully aware of the chikan benefits of the preceding celebration, as well as where it takes place. For any Spanish speaking chikans that are reading right now, please correct me if need be...as I had been informed that the term 'El Barrio' meant 'The Neighbourhood'...which is apt, as the preceding celebration is conducted in a NEIGHBOURHOOD within 'Spanish Harlem' (<---which is the term used by the local residents that live there, based primarily on the predominant Hispanic population in that area.)

2) As much as you may be entitled to your own opinion....with all due respect....that post was not intended for you. I am going to make a confident leap in assumption here by stating that you have probably never visited NYC, hence the fact that you are having to refer to website galleries, as a pose to perhaps stating " Shadow, your facts are incorrect, based on having visited this place myself and seen firsthand that it is not worth it." As much as it would have been beneficial for you to make such a statement to prove your worthiness, I did not read that from you, so that leaves you in a weak position to deny the credibility of my suggestions.
Admittedly, when I first read accounts on here of women being groped in temples in other parts of the world, I felt a slight sense of doubt...however...I have never posted a statement to demean these accounts...or attempt to deter anyone from visiting there...as I CANNOT SAY FIRSTHAND WITH CONFIDENCE that situations like that do not happen...as I have never been there to witness anything that could counterract that. At present, I do believe situations like that can and do take place...and I would not need a few random pics from a website gallery to prove it either.

3) Finally, do not overlook the POSSIBILITY that Ricardo MIGHT speak Spanish. If that happens to be the case, he may get better action than me, as I do not speak the language and I had an amazing time each year...:-)

Trans_rub, if I had relied on website galleries ALONE to determine the chikan possibilities that are likely to be available at an event, I would have contributed less than HALF of the accounts that I have shared on this site, trust me. Therefore, let Ricardo see for himself. Upon returning, he will be in a much better position to either agree or disagree with me, regarding the preceding celebration in Spanish Harlem. Either way...he would have had the chance to EXPERIENCE it firsthand...:-)
