Re: Packed places in NYC
You're welcome, Ricardo. I know how it can be, when you are trying to get a heads up on a new city as preparation.
The trains will be PACKED TO THE RAFTERS for the journey to the parade...there and back. In all honesty, I have never really been one to advertise train lines on here....so I do not want to deviate from that. Nonetheless, upon arrival, the appropriate train lines will become CLEARLY apparent...as the event is held in the midtown area on the East side...plus you will see signs around the City, as the event is normally televised.
As a personal rule of thumb, I normally find that the beginning and the end of a parade route are normally the most packed...with some obvious exceptions along the middle. In regards to this particular parade, however, you will see many areas that will be considerably packed along the entire route; it will be just a matter of locating your targets and getting down to business when the timing is right.
In order to get an idea of how frenzied this event gets, check it out on YouTube....or a picture gallery through the official website for the parade. If all goes well...which I feel certain that it will...you will have a grand 'ole time with those sexy bubblebutts out there. As stated in my previous response, try to catch the preceding celebration in Spanish Harlem...as they normally have a lineup of live artists that are renowned within the Puerto Rican community, therefore you will have a great time there too. Those two events have NEVER failed me. If you can, post an account on your exploits. Havere fun..:-)
