conversation as probe

I know master chikans like Black Shogun and PBH have used the conversation technique several times. How useful is it? I have found it to be a pretty dependable probe for determining degree of consent -- I've often found women like to be engaged in conversation while they are being rubbed up. It makes them feel safe knowing that they now have a channel of communication by which to express their unwillingness if need by (by change in tone or by becoming non-responsive to your chatter) More often than not, I find that the women who dislike being touched are reluctant to talk and will reply in monosyllables. But does a full-fledged conversation really mean consent or does it mean the woman wants to win you over socially, so that you will treat her as a gentleman? Any responses from the masters here?
