Re: Master Ayashi - Terminology A Joke Or Serious?

Master Ayashi, in my opinion, by nature it's just going to have to be a little bit of both I think. I mean, the terms you have referenced thus far are no doubt terms that refer to the thoughts, writings, and/or techniques of serious, hardcore chikans. However, some, including myself, will naturally find a lot of it funny just because it IS funny! Plain and simple.

Each person will just have to take it according to how it impacts them. I spoke before of different ways that chikans cope with the hardships, struggles, and emotional discord that might arise from being involved in this practice. Chikaning ain't easy. For example, for some "coping" might be convincing themselves that the women they chikan are "consenting" anytime they do not openly object, thus allowing the chikan to get his way while telling himself "she agreed to it."

For me, my key coping mechanism is humor. I could not do chikan if I found it to be serious all the time and could not laugh about many aspects of it. Look at many of my stories. Laced with humor because this is who I am (among other things). And I mean, look at some of that stuff . . . the terminology. The Mexican "chunky chicken" equivalent is "chicken koo koo roo"? Baaahahaha! The "bum diddly"?? A "nose wedgie"??? Hahahaha! For me, the creator of a lot these words and phrases, I'm dead serious about chikan, but it all can be just damn funny too!

I say that to be successful in whatever one does, be dead serious about your work, but never take oneself too seriously. Have fun with it! This is my approach to chikan, and this is why I'm of the "Shogun class". I wish I could pull it off so well in other aspects of whatever else I choose to do in life.
