Chikan Definition Of Success

When it comes to the practice of chikan, what constitutes a "success" can be a very subjective thing, and that's fine. I think that's the way it should be. Every "practice" is different. Now when a woman knows what you are doing and let's you have your way, there can be no doubt that she is "tolerating" your advances. However, I don't think it's fair or legitimate at all to equate "tolerance" with "liking it." Those are two very, very different things.

If a woman is tolerant, maybe she likes it . . . maybe not. You have no real way of knowing without some kind of sign or additional data points collected from her. So, if a chikan wants hold that "tolerance" = "success" . . . OK. But that "tolerance" = "liking it" . . . no. Whether the woman likes it or not is also measured by a subjective standard . . . HERS! And that's not something that the chikan can ever really know for certain unless she somehow "tells" him with unambiguos evidence. To merely tolerate is far too ambiguos a condition to allow for a conclusion that the woman enjoyed the advance upon her.

So, I have to conclude that the "mere" presence of "tolerance" does not tell enough about a woman's state of mind in order to conclude that she "likes" what is happening to her. There are far too many other reasons why a woman might tolerate an advance . . . shock, fear, confusion, numbness, embarassment, exhaustion (physical or mental), intimidation, inability to flee . . . and on and on.

As has been stated here many times before, too many times the chikan wants to convince himself in his mind that his prey is game and wants to play, especially if she let him have his way. We can fool ourselves into believing that if we want to . . . but that's just exactly what we would be doing if we start equating "tolerance" or "consent" with "liking" or "enjoying" . . . fooling ourselves. They aren't anywhere near the same things. Not at all.
