Dirty Uncle speaks sage words of advice. If you go to a bar (pub) or nightclub, always have a drink in your hand for crying out loud! The only exceptions are when you are on the dance floor, or going back to order another drink.

Now this does not mean that you have to drink heavily. To the contrary. Buy only 2 or 3 drinks in an entire night, and then nurse them all night long. Need a break? Then just stand there with an empty beer bottle in your hand for a while. Nobody will know. Or, get a glass of water and drink that . . . people may think it's some fancy soda water stuff :-) But always have enough cash to buy 2 or 3 drinks.

Next, as Dirty Uncle says, DO NOT dress in LOUD or unusual clothing. Dress according to the clientele that frequents the place. If people dress up a bit, don't show up wearing a bloody track suit! If people dress down, then you should do so as well.

These are common sense practices that apply to any type of social situation. What? Do you want to look like a misfit??? Hehehe
