I note there has been various references to chikan visiting the UK and I thought the following might be useful:

In the UK people are much more conscious and protective of their personal space. If you stand to close when there isn’t a crowd you will stand out and attract attention to yourself.

If you follow a girl or a woman in and out of shops for anything more than a few minutes you will be noticed. UK women are nervous and have a sixth sense of when something is wrong or is about to happen – don’t ask how just trust me.

Many big stores and some smaller ones have cctv – she may not catch you but the camera will.

Don’t overdress, flamboyant clothing like wearing catwalk fashions will make you stand out to much and UK people will automatically be wary of you and expect you to misbehave.

If you are seen by another individual fondling an unwilling girl you will be reported it is as simple as that. Of course you will still need to be caught but be aware.

Be patient, be quiet, UK people do not talk loudly on public transport if at all. They don’t talk to each other let alone strangers.

Don’t keep riding the same escalators or elevators (lifts in the UK) if you have a success move on somewhere else for a while, by all means come back later but be patient. Repeated activity in a small area will get you caught.

Openly fondling a girls breasts will get you slapped, arrested and given a kicking by a rough policeman. Someone else on here said use your arms or your elbows in an accident type scenario – this is good advice. In a pub or club stand still with your drink held in front of you, as girls go past they will brush their breasts against the back of your hand, you can do the gentlemanly thing and move your hand as they do so – thus feeling them with the back of your hand. This activity will be seen as unavoidable.

In a busy pub or club make sure you are dressed the same as the other customers, no individuality here (you will stand out). Make sure you have a drink and enough money for several drinks. Have periods of standing still and letting girls go past you. Don’t keep going up and down the pub from end to end – UK People don’t. I stood in a pub once whilst an eastern European went repeatedly from end to end – no drink dressed in some ridiculous Versace black and white suit. He had no drink – the only person in there without one. I watched him feeling asses and legs as he went. Far to cavalier. I followed him to the toilets feeling the girls asses with him as we went. When we got to the toilet there was a bouncer who grabbed him and threw him out of door. He had been recognised in his suit going up and down the pub.

If you get caught by the girl, if she turns round and looks at you, just look straight through her, not as though you are expecting her to do so. This will faze the girl because having plucked up the courage to turn round and confront you, you have blanked her and she is not sure if you are the feeler.

If you are caught then deny deny deny. Unless you are caught on video or there are competent independent witnesses who can prove your intent then the matter will be dropped. Your face however will be known and suspicions will remain. Deny Deny Deny whatever the allegation. Remain calm – slightly indignant – and insist there must be a mistake. I carry a mobile phone in one hand and pretend to send a text message when riding escalators. I can grope with my fingers when and if she looks round I am using my phone. I don’t even look up from my phone. Why should I, I haven’t done anything.

Beware stations and Underground unless the station is packed your actions will be recorded on CCTV.
