Subway failure
Today I went to the city to visit the subways. For hours I walked around trying to grope something and failed miserably. Lakers Parade
Just a commesnt on the Lakers parade that is taking place this Wednsday. Make sure you get to the Coliseum early. The parade starts from the Staples center, a reverse from parades past. Glad to see you made it. Based on the lines that you have conveyed, you appear to be using the routes that run up and down the East side of the City. Give the West side a shot....by way of starting your journey from Port Authority, Penn Station or Times Square. You will, generally, find that those areas are MUCH more crowded during the morning and evening rush hour periods, plus they have a greater selection of lines to choose from too. With that said though, please USE CAUTION...as, from what I have heard, 'action' on the NYC subways these days is NOT as 'carefree' as it once may have been.
