I think Max is just exhibiting the classic symptoms of frotteurism . . . the frotteur often wants to believe that some kind of relationship exists between himself and his victims . . . they (the victims) always like what the frotteur is doing . . . they even actively participate . . . the woman is ALWAYS a "player". Sometimes it's true of course that the woman participates (removing her from being a pure victim).

But normally, it absolutely is not true. In fact, most women absolutely do not like it. They hate being groped and humped on by total strangers. But for me, this debate is precisely the reason why Max Mond is the Man of the Year 2007. It is through his writings that we get to look directly into the mind of a chikan who clearly is not at ease with himself and the reality of what he is doing by way of his societally scorned behaviors.
