2007 Annual Year-End Awards

I cast my votes as follows:

1. December 2007 Man of the Month - I cast this vote for "Manhattan", not only for his stories but also for the many good pictures he posted this month. Note that Manhattan also won this time last year too for his accounting of Rockefeller Center action during the holiday season. This guy must just sit back and salivate all year long waiting to nut in some crack at the tree lighting ceremony :-)

2. Rookie of the Year 2007 - I cast this vote for "Black Helmet" who demonstrated himself to be a good writer and a versatile pervert too with both his chikaning and flashing skills (but don't get too happy talking way too much about the flashing part on this here CHIKAN site my friend).

3. Man of the Year 2007 - "The Shadow" started the year out very, very strong. So strong in fact that he was on pace to make history and become the first to repeat as Man of the Year. However, my boy faded badly and has not been heard from in a long, long time (let's hope he's OK and hasn't gotten into any trouble).

Capably stepping in to fill the void was "Max Mond" who kept us fed and entertained with his stories. And it was through his many posts that we were able to read about the trials and tribulations of a real life chikan struggling in his battle to get out of the game, but being constantly lured back in by the dark, forbidden, addictive pleasures of chikan that all highly skilled chikans can attest to. Through the lense of Maxie's writings, we were able to get an inside look at the real life pressures faced by a real life chikan. For this reason, Max Mond is my chikan Man of the Year for 2007.

4. Hall of Fame Nominee - I cast a vote for one person . . . "Shadow" . . . to be inducted into the Chikan Hall of Fame (it's been a long time coming).
