Gtheasslover . . . that's why guys like me fought so very, very hard years ago to bring some control to this board. I don't know if you lurked years ago or not, but the interferences and flaming on this board used to be terrible. Like from 2002 through 2005. I stepped up to the plate and fought the battles that needed to be fought to help bring all that to an end.

Nobody has mentioned it, but the year 2006 was the most peaceful year in the history of this board in terms of flaming and insulting posts . . . I'm PROUD of that . . . a lot of my own "blood, sweat, and tears" were spilled to bring that about. I hope some of the other guys who have been around appreciate where we are today in terms of the relative civility we have reached on this board.

I didn't want to fight, but the alternative of not having a trouble-free place where we could discuss our otherwise lonely hobby was far worse in my mind. One of the "reforms" that came out of the "Chikan War" as I put it (although many of the participants weren't really chikans but rather "instigators") was the ability to register your handle. So, if the abuse of your handle pisses you off (and why wouldn't it?), then register it through Ayashi. That way, you'll take away the ability of some cornhole to misappropriate your persona here on the board.
