Groping in Venezuela ( South America )
Venezuela is a country located in the northern side of South America. The capital of Venezuela is Caracas. Venezuela has a population of 24 million people. Caracas has approximately 6 million people and is the biggest city. The other cities are smaller in population, but have industrial plants and oil wells.
Caracas has a subway system that was built in 1983 and was inaugurated by president of Venezuela at that time Luis Herrera Campíns. There are 3 lines in the subway system. These lines are crowded during rush hours. During the morning rush, the crowded stations are located in the west of the city. During the evening rush, the crowded stations are located in the east of the city.
Groping in the subway system of Caracas is easy. In the rush hour, trains are packed to the maximum number of people inside. Any groper can easily escape detection. Even though the subway system has a “secret police“ that supervise the system, that police are mostly interested in pick pocketers and beggars. If ever young women complain that they were fondled or rubbed up, they are told to avoid the situation or modify their clothing, implying that somehow they are at fault. The police does not consider groping a crime, but rather a mere inconvenience of riding the train.
Groping in the other cities of Venezuela, is much more easier. Even though those cities do not have a subway system yet, the transportation buses are always crowded, carrying triple their ideal capacity at rush hour. Ladies of these cities usually wear light short skirts or short pants because of the hot weather. These women have a lower level of school education than the women who live in the city of Caracas, some have never ever been in big cities, so most of them are very innocent ladies.
The Venezuelan women are easy targets for any experienced groper. This is because young girls at school are never told about what groping is, ( they are not even told about what sexual harassment is ) therefore when they become adult ladies, they are sometimes very innocent, and they just do not care if a man stands behind and rub them up or fondle them in the subway, elevator or in a line of people. They think that this is normal in crowded places. They will not yell or make a scene because they were never told to do so. Any groper only have to be aware of body language and when we get too close to this female target read if the she shows outward signs of discomfort by changing posture. They are never sure whether or not the contact with the groper was intentional. They think the contact was innocent. Therefore these innocent ladies are good targets.
The behavior of the Venezuelan in people in crowded places is very disorganized. Any groper can take advantage of this characteristic in the subway system during rush hour. But, the best opportunities for any groper are when there is an electric power failure or emergency maintenance of the subway system, because the frequency of the trains is less than in normal conditions, so the platform of the stations and trains are very crowded. Also whenever there is a strike of the workers of the subway system, the transportation bus system becomes unusually crowded and disorganized, and is great for groping. Sometimes the subway workers want to complain for better salaries. Instead of doing a strike of workers, they do an special operation called, “ turtle slow operation”. This operation consists in decreasing the frequency of the trains during rush hours and normal hours, so the subway system becomes extremely crowded all day. ( What a paradise ).
I have personally experienced the “turtle slow operation “ and emergency maintenance operation conditions. I have been in the platform of a station during those conditions for over 1 hour trying to get into the train, in totally crowded conditions, standing behind a lady, pushing my body against her, rubbing her up, placing my hands onto her butt, fondling her, feeling her up, and she would not care. We finally get into the bursting cars and we have a sardine-like consistency packed conditions, and I can rub up one lady and fondle another one at the same time and no one cares.
The monetary exchange rate in Venezuela is 1 dollar = 1000 bolívars. The fare of the subway is Bs. 350 ( $0.35 ). Venezuela have a nice weather which is like a summer all the year round. We have sandy beaches, one jungle with gold mines in the south, one cable car that gets you to mountain 5.000 meters height ( Bolivar Mountain “pico Bolívar”). We have small islands with beautiful beaches for tourists. Venezuelan ladies have won beauty contests. We have had 4 Miss Universes:
1979 Maritza Sayalero,
1981 Irene Saez,
1986 Bárbara Palacios
1996 Alicia Machado.
I personally met Irene Sáez in 1981 and later in 1996 and 1997. ( Of course I did not fondled her) . Irene Sáez ran for president of Venezuela in 1998, but she did not win. She was mayoress of an important district of Caracas ( 1993 to 1997 ) , and governor of one Island. ( Margarita Island ) (1999) . When was governor of Margarita Island she got married and got pregnant and decided to retire from politics to devote her time to her son. All Venezuelan chikans fear this lady as a president.
