Since my experience with subway riding is limited, I can not address the "trapped on the subway stories," that have been posted here. But I can say that I have been in crowds (in particular at Mardi Gras) in which a woman is truly trapped and unable to avoid groping hands and thrusting pelvises. The crowds in such instances are dangerous to the brink of a stampede, and people are to the point of almost trampling on each other.

Also, as far as there being women who are agreeable to this type of contact, I can tell you from personal experience that there are women who are. I have participated in consensual frottage in public, with women who I do not know on several occasions. Is it just in my mind? How do I know?
On every occasion, the woman was not trapped. She could avoid contact with no difficulty. She would rotate her body or grind against me as well. We would mutually stop and go on our way.

Because of things I have experienced, I am hesitant to simply say that any story that I read here is made up (that's not to say that I believe them all).
